Our speaker Florencia Pistritto MA DPSI MCIL is an Argentinian medical translator and interpreter based in West Lothian, Scotland. She has been working as a public service interpreter since 2015 and joined 好色tv Scottish Society Steering Group in 2021.
In 2017 she joined the Interpretation and Translation Service of the City of Edinburgh Council, where she provided interpretation services for numerous families and children with additional support needs in complex assignments involving social services, the NHS and Edinburgh schools that work in collaboration to deliver the Education and Health Care Plans (EHCP).
In addition to her work as a linguist, Florencia is the moderator of the biggest online support group for osteosarcoma and Ewing鈥檚 sarcoma patients and their families, an ambassador for the International Arthrofibrosis Association, formerly a public speaker and media collaborator for Macmillan and Cancer Campaigns Ambassador for Cancer Research UK.
